The Armenian National Congress and Living Country Make Joint Statement
The parties 'Living Country' and 'Armenian National Congress' have issued a joint statement.
"Recognizing the development of the Alaverdi community, taking into account the results of the Alaverdi community council elections, and emphasizing the need for a change in governance through elections, with the goal of achieving real reforms in the community through joint efforts, and advancing development at an accelerated pace, we agree to cooperate on the following:
- Jointly develop a program for the development of the Alaverdi community.
- Propose and elect Arkadi Tamazyan, the first candidate on the 'Living Country' party list, as the candidate for the community leader; propose and elect Tigran Papoyan, the second candidate on the 'Armenian National Congress' party list, as the first deputy community leader; appoint Sasun Vardumyan, a representative of the 'Armenian National Congress', to the position of deputy community leader.
- Representatives of the 'Armenian National Congress' will assume leadership of the villages of Odzun, Shenq, Mgnatsakan, Tsatert, and Aygehap, while representatives of the 'Living Country' party will manage the remaining villages.
- Throughout the engagement, the primary principles will be transparency, fairness, and accountability.
The parties are guided by mutual respect, understanding, and a commitment to resolve disagreements through negotiations, forming a culture of cooperation in the Alaverdi community, and being responsible for working together for the development of Alaverdi.
The memorandum is valid for the entire period of governance."
