Armenia Finds More Support from the US than Russia, Says Armen Grigoryan
After deadly clashes with Azerbaijan, Armenia has found more support from the United States than from its ally Russia. According to Armenpress, American news channel Fox News described the current situation surrounding Armenia following the recent events in an interview with Armenia's Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan conducted during his working visit to the United States.
As reported by Fox News, Armenian officials are "concerned" that Russia continues to supply weapons to Armenia's adversary, Azerbaijan. Armen Grigoryan, who had several important meetings in the US last week, including with the US National Security Advisor, senior officials from the Department of Defense, and the Central Intelligence Agency, stated in his conversation with Fox News that the supply of weapons to Azerbaijan by Russia is "not new" and has been a "long story" that Armenia has raised before Moscow.
"This is public information. Yes, it is true. And it greatly concerns us. This is not a new issue," Armen Grigoryan said regarding the supply of Russian arms to Azerbaijan.
During the interview, the Security Council Secretary also spoke about the military aggression carried out by Azerbaijan on September 13-14, emphasizing that the international community should take action and condemn the use of force by Azerbaijan.
