Tatoyan Makes a Statement

The founder of the Center for Law and Justice, Arman Tatoyan, has written:

"Armenia must urgently turn to the International Criminal Court, even at this stage recognizing the court's jurisdiction for a certain period of time. The priority issue is the international criminal responsibility of the Azerbaijani authorities, military, and intelligence officials. The international criminal prosecution of these individuals, even the initiation of such a process, can have a preventive significance. Under the ongoing massive war crimes committed by Azerbaijan against the Republic of Armenia, this must be done immediately. Merely calling and demanding from the outside world does not yield the necessary results in these matters. Specific mechanisms must be implemented."
