Situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani Border: Ministry of Defense

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia reports that as of 10:00 AM on October 2, there has been no change in the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

Recall that on the evening of September 28, the Armenian military announced that starting at 18:00, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire toward the combat positions located in the eastern part of the border, using mortars and large-caliber firearms. The Armenian side reported three casualties.

Meanwhile, the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense stated that it was the Armenian side that violated the ceasefire, also mentioning one injured person on their side.

By 22:00 that same evening, the situation at the border had relatively stabilized.
