Pashinyan on Video of Execution of Armenian Prisoners

Armenia will use all available mechanisms to ensure an investigation and hold accountable those responsible.

This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his Twitter page, addressing the video circulating on Telegram channels, in which Azerbaijani soldiers brutally execute Armenian prisoners of war.

"Such acts of violence must be properly investigated, and the aggressor must bear all the consequences that follow," Pashinyan emphasized.

It is important to note that a video has circulated on the internet showing representatives of the Azerbaijani armed forces executing Armenian prisoners of war.

Auroranews.am has contacted the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Aram Torosyan. In a conversation, he stated regarding the circulating video: "At this moment, we cannot provide any specific information regarding the location and timeline; the relevant authorities are currently examining the footage. As for the authenticity, we believe there is no doubt; it bears the characteristics of the Azerbaijani armed forces, a pattern that is known to us and the international community from undeniable evidence of similar events that occurred previously."
