Over 180 People Receive Notifications at the Upper Lars Checkpoint
More than 180 individuals, who are subject to partial mobilization and wish to travel from Russia to Georgia, have received notifications at the border. This was reported to TASS by the Deputy Military Commissioner of the Republic, Avril Abdullayev.
“More than 180 notifications have been handed out at the border between Russia and Georgia, in the territory of North Ossetia. Citizens from various regions of the country who are waiting to travel to Georgia have received these notifications,” Abdullayev stated.
There is an operational mobilization group working at the border with Georgia, including representatives from the military commissariat and local governmental authorities. Notifications are being provided to Russian citizens who are subject to partial mobilization, along with clarifications on the relevant provisions of Russian law. A state of high readiness remains in effect in the Republic.
