German Defense Minister Makes Unexpected Visit to Ukraine and Promises Support

The German Minister of Defense, Christine Lambrecht, has made an unexpected visit to Ukraine, as reported by Die Welt. In Odesa, Lambrecht met with her Ukrainian counterpart, Oleksii Reznikov.

During the visit, she promised that Ukraine would receive Iris-T SLM air defense systems in the coming days. She assured that Germany would assist in protecting "critical infrastructure."

Regarding Ukraine's demands for tank supplies, Lambrecht reiterated, "Germany has always made it clear that we will not act alone in this area. Ukraine is also aware that we consistently coordinate our actions with our partners."
