VIDEO: The Caucasus Knows What This Means: Zelensky Addresses the Caucasus and Announces Russian Casualties
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has addressed the peoples of the Caucasus, Siberia, and other indigenous groups in Russia whose representatives are being sent to fight against Ukraine. Zelensky urged them to resist the regime of Russian President Vladimir Putin and not to allow themselves to become cannon fodder in an unwarranted war.
The president noted that approximately 58,500 Russian soldiers have already died in the war against Ukraine, a figure that remains undisclosed to the Russian people, who are misled to believe that only about 6,000 have been killed.
“58,500 is the truth. They all died because one person wanted this war. Just one person, whom many serve. The people of the Caucasus, all peoples within Russian territory, you have no reason to be among those serving the one who desires this war,” Zelensky stated.
He emphasized that Ukraine recognizes the resistance of the Caucasian peoples to mobilization.
