VIDEO: Senior Officer Sent These Footage to Command; Why Wasn't Enemy Advancement Toward Shushi Stopped?
Businessman Samson Grigoryan posted on his Facebook page that it’s time to share this video, which he claims should have been posted 15 days ago, but due to the ongoing war, it was delayed. In his post, he shared a video that the original creator also uploaded on YouTube, although it has been largely ignored.
“I am aware of both the backstory of the video and the events that followed. It was filmed before the loss of Shushi, and the shooter is a senior officer who had sent the footage to the command asking to stop the enemy’s advance toward Shushi with a Grad strike. He is convinced that after a full strike from just one battery, the defenders of Shushi would have surely halted the assault and Shushi would not have fallen. Intelligence data with their evidence existed; the Grad was available, the attacker was there, and there was a promise of a strike... However, the strike did not happen!” Samson Grigoryan stated.
“I do not know many details, facts, and names, but there is an important nuance that must be known. This officer faced pressure, violence after the end of the war, and even had his passport taken away, being demanded to surrender the carrier and the drone. By the way, the drone was also taken from a foreign journalist to allow reconnaissance of the area.”
“The video is not the only one; there are more of them, and all of them are now in the hands of the investigative bodies of the Republic of Armenia. There are already arrested individuals, many of whom are well-known and high-ranking; you know them yourself,” Grigoryan wrote.
Auroranews contacted the press department of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia for further information regarding the video. Aram Torosyan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, stated in a conversation with us that the video and the post are being investigated by the Ministry of Defense.
