VIDEO: Is the issue of withdrawing from the CSTO being discussed in the National Assembly?

In Armenia, forces aligned against Russia and the idea of withdrawing from the CSTO are currently meeting with the Chairman of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Defense, Andranik Kocharyan.

A reporter from MediaHub witnessed their rush to Kocharyan's office in the corridors of the National Assembly. The attendees include Yosyef Khurshudyan, expert Ruben Mehrabyan from the Armenian Center for Political and International Studies, and Supreme Council member Azat Arshakyan.

Arshakyan mentioned that they initiated such a meeting. “We requested a meeting at the NA committee regarding the issue of Armenia's withdrawal from the CSTO. We requested a meeting and received it,” he said while hurrying to Andranik Kocharyan’s office.

Further details will be provided after the meeting. However, it should be noted that according to our information, the meeting was not initiated by a civilian initiative, as Arshakyan stated, but rather by Andranik Kocharyan himself.

Auroranews contacted the press secretary of the RA NA President, Tovinar Khachatryan, for more details about the meeting, who informed us that she is not aware of the meeting.

We also attempted to reach NA 'Civil Contract' faction members Andranik Kocharyan, Kristine Poghosyan, and Supreme Council member Azat Arshakyan, but our calls went unanswered.
