VIDEO: We Spent the Whole Night in Yerebloor - Father of Fallen Soldier
We announced yesterday that we would be at 'Yerebloor' starting from 11 PM. Thousands of citizens have responded to our call. This was stated today, September 27, during a press conference at the 'Yerebloor' pantheon by Ara Rostomyan, the father of fallen soldier Hakob Rostomyan.
It should be noted that the parents of the fallen soldiers decided to spend the night at 'Yerebloor' to prevent representatives of the authorities from entering the 'Yerebloor' pantheon in the morning.
'We have spent the whole night here without any provocations. They had previously stated that they would not come, claiming it was to avoid additional provocations and to ease the tension. If they were aware of all of this, we urged them several times on September 21 not to approach. In front of about 50 parents, they brought over a thousand police officers. We urged them not to approach and not to carry out that ceremony, but they did not listen. We saw what happened. Now, seeing that thousands of people came here at our call, they already stayed away,' he said.
Ara Rostomyan noted that they perhaps wanted to signal that there are no closed doors against us, not realizing that trampling over parents is not a closed door.
