Justice Ministry Does Not Extradite 2 Kurdish Convicts to Turkey

The Justice Ministry has not extradited Kurdish nationals Atilla Chicek and Huseyin Yıldırım to Turkey.

In a press release, the ministry stated: "In addition to the announcement from the National Security Service, we inform that the Justice Ministry is authorized to extradite a convict to serve the remainder of their sentence in their country of citizenship. However, no transfer has been made of Kurdish nationals Atilla Chicek and Huseyin Yıldırım to Turkey. Furthermore, the transfer or handover of the aforementioned individuals has not been discussed within the Justice Ministry."
