VIDEO: People Try to Leave as Quickly as Possible Amid Kilometer-Long Traffic Jams at Borders with Russia
The situation at the borders of Finland and Kazakhstan with Russia is currently characterized by kilometer-long traffic jams, as people are trying to leave as quickly as possible. This has been reported by international media, along with a video showcasing the massive queues that have formed.
It is worth noting that a similar situation has arisen at the Russia-Georgia border, which we have reported on multiple times.
Recall that days ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree regarding partial mobilization. "To protect Russia, its sovereignty, and territorial integrity, I find it necessary to support the proposal for carrying out partial mobilization. Only citizens in reserve will be subject to conscription, and they will undergo additional training considering the experience of the special operation. Mobilization activities will begin today," stated the Russian President.
According to him, those mobilized to participate in the special military operation will receive compensation and the status of contracted military personnel. "The West has crossed all boundaries, irresponsible politicians are talking about supplying Ukraine with offensive weapons and launching military strikes against Russia. Western countries are pushing Kyiv to extend military operations into Russian territory," Putin added.
