City Hall Plans Complete Renovation of the Cascade Complex

Yerevan's City Hall intends to fully renovate the Cascade complex. This was announced today by Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan during a session of the city council.

He noted that an agreement had been reached with the Gafesjian Foundation to return the Cascade's stairway, which was donated to the Gafesjian Foundation in May 2002, back to the Yerevan community.

"There is an intention to build a new wing for the Contemporary Art Museum there. We will also have an amphitheater, which will provide opportunities to activate cultural life in Yerevan," added the mayor.
