Russia Can Use Not Only Mobilization Capabilities but Also Any Weapon, Including Nuclear – Medvedev

Dmitry Medvedev has called for Russia not to be intimidated regarding Crimea by discussions of a NATO strike, and in response to such statements, warned of retaliation with hypersonic weapons. He made these comments on his Telegram channel.

“We should not be frightened by different retired idiots along general lines discussing a NATO strike on Crimea. Hypersonic weapons are guaranteed to reach targets in Europe and the USA much faster,” Medvedev cautioned.

He listed the outcomes of decisions announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 21. According to Medvedev, referendums will take place in the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, for these territories to join the Russian Federation. He assured that the defense of all annexed territories would significantly strengthen the Russian armed forces.

According to Medvedev, Russia has stated that not only mobilization capabilities but also any weapons, including strategic nuclear weapons and weapons based on new principles, can be used for such defense.

“But Western structures, all citizens of NATO countries must understand that Russia has chosen its path. There is no turning back,” Medvedev wrote.
