Iran Unveils New Ballistic Missiles for the First Time
Iran has showcased its new long-range ballistic missiles, "Khaybarshikan" and "Rezvan," for the first time, according to Mehr news agency.
During a military parade, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) presented a high-precision long-range ballistic missile named "Khaybarshikan," capable of striking targets with high accuracy at distances of up to 1450 kilometers.
The Iranian Armed Forces also introduced the "Rezvan" surface-to-surface ballistic missile for the first time. This is a single-stage missile with a separable warhead, offering a range of up to 1400 kilometers, capable of being launched from various stationary and mobile platforms.
Additionally, during the parade, the Iranian military displayed several other domestically produced UAVs, ballistic missile systems, and long-range radar detection systems.
The IRGC Aerospace Force also unveiled its "Sevvom-e Khordad" medium-range mobile surface-to-air missile system for the first time. The "Sevvom-e Khordad" air defense system is capable of engaging various aerial targets, including helicopters, fighter jets, drones, and cruise missiles.
