Gunshots in Gndzak: Large Quantity of Weapons Acquired During the 44-Day War Found

On September 20, around 19:30, acting on received information, the operational group of the Gavar police department went to the village of Gndzak. On H. Abrahamyan Street, the police noticed that a 41-year-old local resident was holding an automatic rifle, and they attempted to disarm him. However, he fired a burst into the air from the rifle and fled the scene. The police managed to apprehend him, arrest him, and take him to the department.

As part of the initiated criminal proceedings, a search was conducted at the crime scene, during which 8 cartridges from a 5.45 mm caliber rifle were found.

In the yard of the 41-year-old man's house, an AK-type automatic rifle with a magazine, a Makarov-type pistol with 2 magazines, a Parabellum-type pistol with a magazine, and 1098 bullets of various calibers along with 8 cartridges were discovered. The man stated that the found weapons and ammunition were obtained during the 44-day war.

The 41-year-old man from Gndzak has been arrested. He and the prepared documents have been submitted to the investigative body.
