VIDEO: Emergency Situations Ministry Reports Partial Collapse of Surmalu Building

On September 21, at 17:45, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a damaged building at the Surmalu shopping center in Yerevan has partially collapsed. This was announced by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Hayk Kostanyan.

He also stated that a firefighting unit from the Yerevan Rescue Department and a rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been dispatched to the scene.

It is also worth noting that a short while ago, in an interview with Auroranews.am, the spokesperson reported three injuries and two vehicles trapped under the rubble. It is still being verified whether there are any people under the debris. According to preliminary data, there are none.
