«Russia has always been and will remain by the side of our fraternal country, not just in words, but in actions» – Russian Embassy

The Russian Embassy in Armenia has sent a congratulatory message to the citizens of Armenia on the occasion of the national holiday, the Republic's Independence Day.

The message particularly states: “Fraternal Armenia, like Russia, is going through difficult times. The trials and the pain of loss are what unite our peoples today, as well as the age-old close ties, common historical fates, values, and deep national interests. History has proven this, and today's realities testify to it. This is the foundation of our allied relations, which Russia undoubtedly cherishes.

The Russian Federation contributes to and intends to continue supporting the economic prosperity of Armenia, the real sovereignty, and the strengthening of the security of the Armenian people, including through consistent, very difficult, and time-consuming work to promote the peace agenda in the region.

We mourn with you over the loss and express our sincere condolences. We wish the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian people peace, well-being, and confidence in the future. Russia has always been and will remain by the side of our fraternal country, not just in words, but in actions.”
