Selfie at the Queen's Funeral: Who is the Famous Cartoon Character?

Mexico's Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard has come under intense criticism and accusations of disrespect after he took a selfie with his wife just minutes before the state funeral of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II.

As reported by mirror.co.uk, Ebrard posted the photo, in which he and his wife are seen smiling, on his Twitter microblog. He captioned the image: 'At Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.'

Many social media users rushed to criticize the politician, with one commenter stating, 'I consider taking a selfie at a funeral to be disrespectful.' As a result, the Foreign Minister now faces a barrage of backlash and negative comments.

Ebrard was one of 2,000 politicians and public figures from around the world who paid their respects to Queen Elizabeth II at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

Notably, a controversial cover of the world-famous French magazine Charlie Hebdo featured a cartoon dedicated to the Queen's funeral. Armenian society has been drawn to the cartoon depicting a man taking a selfie in front of the Queen's coffin. There was speculation that the depicted individual was the President of Armenia, who had become a topic of discussion in various British and international reputed publications. However, it seems that the cartoon character is actually Mexico's Foreign Minister, noted for his scandalous selfie.
