Today, news circulating on social media regarding the presence of suspicious individuals asking about the population and the army in various locations, including the village of Shaki in the Syunik region, has been refuted by the acting mayor of Sisian, Armen Hakobjanian.

"I have visited several villages throughout the day. There is no such issue. No saboteur has been encountered, including in the village of Shaki. It was merely a reservist coming down from a position, one of our reservists, who is currently at the police station," Hakobjanian stated in an interview with Faktinfo.

Hakobjanian urged the population not to fall for such panic-inducing, unverified news and not to contribute to the exodus of people from the villages, which is precisely what the enemy aims for.
