Accident in Ararat City: 1-Year-Old Child Dies

At 09:35 today, the Ararat regional crisis management center received a call reporting an accident near the Banavan district of Ararat city, with casualties involved. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue department of the emergency situations ministry was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a Ford Transit van (driver A. Sh., born 1985) collided with an Iveco cargo truck (driver R. T., born 1985). A 1-year-old passenger of the Ford Transit van, A. Sh. (born 2021), died at the scene.
