Pope Francis on Recent Clashes: 'Reports Made Me Very Sad'
Pope Francis has addressed the recent military operations at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on his Twitter page.
"Reports about the latest clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia have caused me great sorrow. I express my spiritual closeness to the families of the victims and urge both sides to respect the ceasefire," he wrote.
