The Situation is Critical: Arman Tatoyan
Former Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, who participated in a protest near the National Assembly yesterday, is confident that there is no one on the political or diplomatic front in the republic today, with constant failures occurring.
“The situation is truly critical. Today we are in a real war, our boys are constantly performing heroics at the front, but there is no one on the political or diplomatic front, with continuous failures. We cannot allow our 18-year-old soldiers to be subjected to sacrifice,” Tatoyan stated during an impromptu rally on Bagramyan Avenue.
According to him, today’s situation is a result of the mistakes made by the current authorities, and after the war, when Azerbaijani military personnel were found committing criminal acts on the roads of Armenia, near villages, there were grounds to remove them from those areas.
Tatoyan emphasized that the current authorities must step down, and it is now time for change as Armenia is in a real war. He called on the Armenian people to unite in order to solve existing problems and achieve victory.
