Approximately 60 Buildings Damaged Due to Adversary Actions in Vardenis

As a result of enemy shelling, 40 to 50 apartments in Sotk, 10 to 12 in Kut, and 5 to 7 in Norabak have been damaged, including the Sotk community administration. This was stated by the head of the enlarged community of Vardenis, Aharon Khachatryan, during an interview with an Armenpress correspondent, adding that the civilian infrastructure has been either completely or partially damaged.

“On the night of the 12th to the 13th of the month, several villages were affected due to enemy gunfire. Residents have been evacuated and moved to shelters where everything is being provided for them,” he said.

Aharon Khachatryan also noted that there are three injured among civilians. “They are already recovering; they did not suffer serious injuries. After being discharged from the hospital, we transferred them to the Vardenis Medical Center,” he added.
