Accumulating Political Dividends in This Complex Wartime Situation is Immorality, Says Mayor

Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan wrote on his Facebook page: “Dear compatriots, in these difficult times, we all must unite around our country's leader, regardless of political views and objectives, regardless of party affiliation. Our only salvation is a united and cohesive society that keeps our army and its support strong.

Such dangerous, destructive misinformation is aimed at undermining the psychological strength of our soldiers and demoralizing our army. We should not succumb to nation-destroying provocations and contribute to the enemy's plans that threaten our statehood. It is immoral to accumulate political dividends and serve one’s own petty political interests in this complicated wartime situation.”
