We Have One Captured Individual: Yeghishe Kirakosyan

During the aggressive military assault by Azerbaijan on the territory of sovereign Armenia on the night of September 12-13, there is one reported captured individual from the Armenian side. This information was shared on air by Yeghishe Kirakosyan, Armenia's representative in international legal bodies, on the Public Radio of Armenia.

“With the efforts of our office, we have been able to identify that, unfortunately, we have one captured individual. We have videos circulating on the internet showing our wounded compatriot, who is captured and is reportedly under the control of Azerbaijan,” said Kirakosyan.

He also mentioned that Armenia has already submitted an application to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to request the application of interim measures against Azerbaijan to ensure the rights and physical integrity of the Armenian serviceman until his repatriation.
