No Gunfire Currently in Sotk, Says Community Leader

Currently, the situation in Sotk is relatively calm. This was stated in an interview with MediaHub.am by the community leader, Sevak Khachatryan. Although he did not specify an exact time, he mentioned that the situation has stabilized for about an hour and a half.

“Right now, only men are in the village, ready to defend at any moment, if necessary. The women and children have not been in the community since yesterday; we evacuated them,” Khachatryan said.

According to him, the building of the community administration was damaged during last night's shelling, several homes were burned, and some roofs and windows were damaged. “But as for the extent of the damage, we can provide details if tomorrow is peaceful and we can carry out assessments,” he noted.
