The Soldier Who Fired at Azerbaijanis Is Undoubtedly Taron Andreasyan: Siranush Sahakyan

Days ago, the Armenian soldier in a video published on social media, who was trying to single-handedly stop an Azerbaijani convoy, is Taron Harutuni Andreasyan, without a doubt. This was stated by Siranush Sahakyan, representative of the interests of Armenian prisoners of war in Azerbaijan at the European Court of Human Rights, in a conversation with NEWS.am.

“The location was investigated, previous statements made by a fellow serviceman were reviewed, as well as photographs. We have also consulted with experts, and now we can unambiguously confirm that the soldier in the video is Taron Harutuni Andreasyan,” said Siranush Sahakyan.

Days ago, the Ministry of Defense stated that efforts had begun to identify the Armenian soldier, determine the date of the incident, and establish the location. The Ministry of Defense has not yet announced the results of the identification.

Taron Andreasyan is considered missing.
