«Until the Issue of Artsakh is Resolved, I Will Not Go Anywhere»: Ruben Vardanyan at Artsakh National Assembly

On September 8, Artsakh National Assembly Vice President Gagik Bagunts received philanthropist, initiator of the "Future Armenian" movement, and co-founder of the "Aurora" humanitarian initiative Ruben Vardanyan with the participation of faction leaders and committee chairs. This was reported by the official website of the National Assembly of Artsakh.

Vice President Gagik Bagunts welcomed Vardanyan's decision to obtain Artsakh citizenship and settle in Artsakh, expressing hope that this important step would fulfill the expectations of many Artsakh residents. In turn, Ruben Vardanyan thanked for the meeting and highly appreciated the activities of the legislative body in the post-war and especially challenging conditions.

“The issue of Artsakh’s future is not just a problem for those living in Artsakh, but for the entire Armenian people,” Vardanyan noted, assuring that he is ready to use all possible resources and potential for the benefit of Artsakh. Discussing the existing challenges, philanthropist Vardanyan outlined a vision with three main objectives for visiting Artsakh, aimed at the status, security, and socio-economic development of Artsakh. He emphasized the importance of ensuring not only military but also informational security.

“Until the issue of Artsakh is resolved, I will not go anywhere,” Vardanyan summarized his remarks. The parliamentarians welcomed Vardanyan's decision during this difficult time for Artsakh and the Armenian world and expressed their readiness for cooperation. The importance of unity around a clear goal and problem was emphasized by both sides.
