Ministry of Defense on the Return of Prisoners

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia currently does not have confirmed or clarified information regarding the return of prisoners from Azerbaijan, and checks are being conducted. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry, Aram Torosyan, in a conversation with Auroranews.am.

We also attempted to reach the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but our calls went unanswered. However, it should be noted that the ministry has not issued any statements regarding the return of prisoners.

Recall that earlier, information was circulated that Baku had released 5 prisoners. Subsequently, international news agencies reported that Azerbaijan's Supreme Court had reduced the sentences of four Armenian prisoners of war in Baku, resulting in their release.
