New Security Devices and Equipment to Be Installed at the Presidential Office

The government, in its meeting today on September 8, made a reallocation in the law on the 2022 state budget aimed at modernizing and improving the technical equipment of the Office of the President of the Republic of Armenia.

The justification for the decision states: “When assessing the effectiveness of security measures in the administrative building of the Office of the President and the surrounding areas, relevant specialists have noted the need to replace certain security devices and equipment.” Taking into account the specifics of ensuring the activities of the President of the Republic and the state ceremonial events and meetings regularly held in the mentioned location, it is proposed to redistribute allocations between the program 'Ensuring the Powers of the President of the Republic' (1154) and the measures for 'Ensuring the Activities and Representation of the President of the Republic' (11001) and 'Improvement of the Technical Equipment of the Office of the President' (31001) for the purpose of acquiring security devices and equipment.

This aims to enhance the effectiveness of security measures in the administrative building of the Office of the President and the surrounding areas.
