Ruben Vardanyan's Move to Artsakh Has Alarmed Certain Circles, Reports 'Hraparak'
The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports: 'Amid the anti-Russian and pro-Western shifts of the Armenian authorities, the Russian government is undertaking appropriate measures to ensure that the region, through Armenia, does not slip from their grasp. We have learned from Russian political experts and adjacent circles that there will be rearrangements in the Armenian political landscape in the near future.
Russia not only recognizes that anti-Russian sentiments are rising—currently, there is a stable 18 percent against Russia within Armenian society, which is a significant figure—but it also understands that anti-Russian sentiment has particularly taken root among the elite, which is dangerous. Therefore, they will attempt to initiate propaganda efforts and will also try to introduce new players and faces into the game.
It is no coincidence that businessman Ruben Vardanyan's move to Artsakh has sent certain Soros-affiliated and pro-Western circles into a frenzy, as they are attempting to launch a counter-campaign against Vardanyan and are spreading the thesis that he has been dispatched to Artsakh by the Kremlin.'
