When to Expect a Drop in Temperature: Weather Forecast
Due to the influx of tropical warm air currents from the regions of Iraq, during the daytime hours from September 1 to 4, the air temperature in the Ararat Plain, the pre-mountain areas of Aragatsotn and Vayots Dzor, as well as in Yerevan, is expected to reach +38 to +40 degrees Celsius.
Given the high thermal background and lack of precipitation, a high level of fire danger is anticipated in the pre-mountainous and valley areas of the republic.
Throughout the country, on the afternoon of September 1 and from September 2 to 4, dry weather is expected without precipitation. From the afternoon of September 5 to 6, isolated areas will experience rain and thunder. The wind will be south-west at 2-5 m/s, with winds expected to intensify to 15-18 m/s during thunderstorms.
The air temperature on September 5 and 6 is predicted to decrease by 6-8 degrees.
In Yerevan, on the afternoon of September 1 and from September 2 to 6, dry weather is also expected.
