‘The whole of Yerevan is full of Turks, why aren’t they being beaten there, they are being beaten in Vedi’: Turkish couples came to roam in Armenia

Turkish couples who held a feast in Vedi had claimed to be tourists. They insisted that they got lost on their way and ended up in Vedi, but local residents do not believe them. This was reported to Factinfo by Vedi residents who provided details of the incident that occurred the day before.

The residents do not think that the Turkish couples ended up in Vedi by accident and do not rule out the possibility that they may be agents. ‘They showed their passports, saying they are traveling around the world, claiming they came to Armenia as tourists and somehow got lost, but this cannot happen by chance, they may also be representatives of an intelligence service. They say that the whole of Yerevan is full of Turks, why aren't they being beaten there, they are being beaten in Vedi,’ one Vedi resident told the media.

According to them, the police interrogated the Turkish couples, and they left Vedi afterward. It should be noted that reports circulating on the internet stated that the situation in Vedi had been tense, with the Turks organizing a feast.
