Ravil Maganov, Chairman of Lukoil’s Board of Directors, Dies After Falling from Hospital Window

A representative of Moscow’s Central Clinical Hospital has confirmed the death of Ravil Maganov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lukoil. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

“Yes, we confirm the fact,” said the agency’s interlocutor, adding that investigative authorities are working on-site to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

On the morning of September 1, several Telegram channels reported that 64-year-old Ravil Maganov had died after falling from a hospital window while receiving treatment. His body was discovered by the hospital staff.

It is worth noting that in May, Alexander Subbotin, a former top manager and billionaire of Lukoil, died under mysterious circumstances. This is not the first strange death of a top manager in Russia in recent months. Previously, media outlets reported the deaths of Vladislav Avaev, a former manager of Gazprombank, and Sergey Protosenya, a former head of Novatek. Preliminary investigation suggests that both men first killed their family members before taking their own lives.
