VIDEO: Huge Hailstorm Hits Spain, One-Year-Old Child Killed

A massive hailstorm with 10 cm diameter hailstones has struck Spain, resulting in injuries to 30 people and the unfortunate death of a one-year-old child, according to the Daily Mail.

The severe hail hammered the Catalonian town of La Bisbal d'Empordà. The injured child was hospitalized, but sadly passed away a few hours later.

Other victims reported suffering from head injuries, cuts, and bone fractures. Meteorologists have stated that this is the largest hailstorm to hit Catalonia in the last twenty years.
