Response from ‘Homeland’ Party to Chakhoyan’s Statement

Members of the ‘Homeland’ party, Arsen Babayan and party spokesperson Sos Hakobyan, have responded to the statement made by Taron Chakhoyan, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister. Chakhoyan had said, 'All that remains for Arthur Vanetsyan and the other opposition figures is to wish for patience until further revelations.'

Arsen Babayan wrote: 'Explain to Nikol Pashinyan that Vanetsyan has so much patience that Taron Chakhoyan’s ears are still in their place. But, Taron, kindly stay in your place; everything has its time.'

Sos Hakobyan also commented: 'There is an old Chinese proverb: When someone, even a minor figure from the ruling party, slanders you, do not seek revenge. Sit by the riverbank and wait; sooner or later, the political corpse of your opponent will float by you on the water—there is patience in the sea, so do not worry.'
