Criminal Case Proceedings Refused for Arsons in Berdzor and Aghavno

From August 14 to 24, the criminal proceedings concerning 13 cases of house arson that were recorded have been refused based on justifiable grounds. This information was reported by the Artsakh police.

“Considering that recently there has been widespread public attention to the incidents of house arson by residents in the city of Berdzor and the community of Aghavno, the Artsakh Republic’s Ministry of Internal Affairs informs that the criminal proceedings regarding the 13 cases of house arson recorded from August 14 to 24 have been refused based on justifiable grounds due to the absence of criminal composition in the actions of the arsonists. Criminal prosecution is not being carried out against them,” the statement from the Artsakh police reads.
