Will Political Parties in Armenia Participate in Events Dedicated to the Declaration of the Republic of Artsakh?

Opposition parties 'Hayastan' and 'Pativ unem' will travel to Artsakh to participate in events dedicated to the declaration of the Republic of Artsakh on September 2, while the ruling 'Civil Contract' party has yet to make a decision. This was reported by 'Patsinfo'.

"On September 2, the day of the declaration of the Republic of Artsakh, of course, our representatives will be in Artsakh. We visit Artsakh regularly; just a few days ago, I was in Agavnoy with several of my fellow parliamentarians and had a number of meetings in Stepanakert. I would also like to remind you that on September 2, a large rally is planned at France Square, dedicated to the declaration of the Republic," said Agnese Khamoyan, a member of the 'Hayastan' faction, to 'Patsinfo'.

Hayk Mamijanyan, the leader of the 'Pativ unem' faction, stated that considering the rallies planned for that day both in Yerevan and Stepanakert, some members of their faction will participate in the rally in Yerevan, while others, including representatives of the 'Republican' party, will be in Stepanakert. "I would also love to go to Stepanakert, but I have a speech during the rally in Yerevan," added Mamijanyan.

The secretary of the 'Civil Contract' faction also stated that they have not yet made a decision. Let us remind you that on September 2, on the occasion of Artsakh Day, a rally will take place initiated by all five factions of the Artsakh National Assembly. A march will start from the Freedom Square in Stepanakert at 17:30, followed by a rally at the central Renaissance Square at 19:00. A rally will also be held on the same day in the center of Yerevan at France Square.
