Mikael Arzumanyan's Predecessor: Jalal and Onik Exist, Says Galeyan

Today is supposed to be one of those days when the Prosecutor General should not just be the prosecutor in service of Nikol Pashinyan, but rather the prosecutor in service of the public. This was stated during a rally in front of the Prosecutor General's Office by Garik Galeyan, father of Mikitar Galeyan, who was killed in the 44-day war, on August 30.

“The Prosecutor General has only two days to arrest Nikol Pashinyan and remove the label of traitor from the Davtyan family. Regardless, he will be condemned for aiding this treachery. We learned that Pashinyan is going to Brussels tomorrow for a meeting. But he should not represent the Armenian people; he has no right to do so. We demand that the Prosecutor General prevent his actions as soon as possible,” he said.

According to Galeyan, the Prime Minister will sign some other document tomorrow, as a result of which “we will start giving away territories from Armenia.”

“Even if Satan comes out to fight against this government, I will stand next to him, because if tomorrow my child asks who is responsible for my father's death, I won’t have anything to tell. I do not believe that everyone in the prosecutor's office is as spineless as Arthur Davtyan. Arthur Davtyan has instructed to interrogate Nikol Pashinyan, but the Investigative Committee either ignores this or has rejected the accusation of treason due to lack of criminal composition,” said Garik Galeyan.

He also noted that he asked the Investigative Committee if Jalal Harutyunyan had been summoned and questioned. “From the podium of the National Assembly, the number one traitor announced that they were aware that there would be a war. Did you ask, why did you conduct a 'peresmenka' in the entire Artsakh Defense Army on September 26 instead of switching to defense, why did you bring the troops to garrison?”

Referring to the recent arrest of former Artsakh Defense Army commander Mikael Arzumanyan, the father of the fallen soldier remarked, “Before Mikael Arzumanyan, there are Jalal and Onik.”

Earlier, we reported that parents of soldiers killed in the 44-day war have been protesting in front of the Prosecutor General's Office since the end of April. They conveyed their petition, signed with their names, demanding that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan be brought into the criminal case regarding the 44-day war as a defendant and recognized as a victim. The parents are demanding a decision to arrest Nikol Pashinyan.
