Artsakh Only Has One Future Within Azerbaijan: Ethnic Cleansing, Says Babayan

The assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Hajiyev, has stated that Azerbaijanis and Armenians can live side by side as citizens of one country. This was written by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, Davit Babayan, on his Facebook page.

“First of all, Armenians and Azerbaijanis can live within one country, but that country can only be a third country, for example, Russia, the USA, Switzerland, and so on. We have similar examples, even though Azerbaijan does everything to ensure that even in a third country, Azerbaijanis treat Armenians with hostility, and we see this in various countries. However, if we are talking about Artsakh and Azerbaijan, we cannot be part of Azerbaijan because Artsakh has only one future within Azerbaijan: ethnic cleansing, destruction, and genocide,” he stated.
