Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Issues Statement
On August 30, a second meeting took place in Moscow between the commission for the delimitation of state borders and border security between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the state commission for the delimitation of state borders between Azerbaijan and Armenia, chaired by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, as reported by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Prior to the meeting, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk met with Shahin Mustafayev and Mher Grigoryan to welcome the continuation of the commission's work. The parties discussed organizational and procedural issues, exchanging detailed views on the regulations of the committees' joint activities and future work. Gratitude was expressed to the Russian side for organizing the meeting at a high level.
