Putin Speaks About Evacuated Residents from Donetsk and Luhansk

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree establishing the procedure for monthly and one-time payments to pensioners evacuated from the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics to Russia.

Specifically, pensioners will receive 10,000 rubles each month, while those with first-degree disabilities, disabled children, and pensioners over 80 years of age will receive a social payment of 13,000 rubles. The decree was signed today, August 27, and is effective immediately, though it has retroactive effect, covering the month of July as well.

According to the decree, the payments will be made until December 31, 2022.
