Great Britain's Arsenal for Arming Ukraine is Running Out
Financial support from Great Britain for Ukraine's military operations is set to end by the end of the year, reports the Times, citing sources from the UK Ministry of Defence.
"Great Britain's arsenal is running out, which it can give to Ukraine. The reality is that the United Kingdom's financial investment in the ongoing battles in Ukraine will be depleted by the end of the year," the publication states.
It is noted that the new Prime Minister of Great Britain must decide whether to spend billions of pounds to support Kyiv at a time when the country's finances are in a challenging situation. The British population is beginning to realize the scale of the sacrifices that need to be made for the sake of Kyiv, the newspaper reports. The Times cites the opinion of an ordinary citizen who, although in favor of arming Ukraine, expresses concern: "I think we are somewhat guilty of overly glorifying the Ukrainians," he notes.
