Dugin Speaks About His Daughter's Murder

Russian philosopher and political figure Alexander Dugin has stated that his daughter, Darya, was the target of the murderers, not himself, reports RIA Novosti.

“Everything was done to kill her, it wasn’t fundamentally wrong; she was the one they targeted,” he said.

Darya Dugin died on the evening of August 20 in an explosion in the Moscow region. Russian law enforcement officials have determined that the journalist's murder was carried out by Ukrainian national Natalia Vovk, who arrived in Russia with Darya on July 23. She had been following the victim for several days and left for Estonia immediately after the explosion.
