Russia's Capabilities Pose a Strategic Challenge to Us, Says Stoltenberg
NATO considers Russia's military capabilities in the Northern Flank a strategic challenge, stated the alliance's Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who is visiting a NATO airbase in Alberta, Canada.
“Russia's capabilities in the North pose a strategic challenge to us,” Stoltenberg said. He also emphasized that the North is regarded within the alliance as “strategically important for Euro-Atlantic security.”
