If It Were Up to Me, I Would Have Taken Kyiv Long Ago: Kadyrov
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has expressed his desire to capture Kyiv and interrogate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a basement. He made these comments on his Telegram channel.
"I have participated, I am participating, and I will continue to participate in the special military operation. And I will free those people you have tortured over the years. If it were up to me, I would have taken Kyiv long ago. And Zelensky and others like him would find themselves in a basement for interrogation. So thank Putin for not allowing the capture of Kyiv and for not letting you be interrogated appropriately," Kadyrov stated.
This statement comes as Kadyrov responds to accusations brought against him by the Security Service of Ukraine, which alleges that he participated in planning military operations in Ukraine during February-March 2022.
