Dispute Among Foreigners in Sevan Peninsula Ends in Stabbing

On August 25, at 14:00, a dispute erupted among foreigners in the lakeside area of the Sevan Peninsula, during which one individual stabbed another.

According to the information provided by the Police of Armenia, officers from the Sevan police department who were on duty in the vicinity immediately arrived at the scene and identified both the assailant and the victim who sustained injuries.

"The stabbed man was transported to a medical center, while the assailant was arrested. The 31-year-old foreigner was brought to the investigative unit. He stated that during an argument on domestic issues, he inflicted injuries on the man, after which he threw the knife into Lake Sevan," the statement said.

According to the source, a pre-investigation check is underway.
