Video: How Do Armenian Citizens Feel About Paying to Be Exempt from Military Service? Survey by ArmLur

The Ministry of Defense has introduced a new project that proposes serving a shorter term in exchange for payment. Specifically, according to the proposal, a conscript may pay 24 million drams to the Armenian state budget and be released from compulsory military service four and a half months after the start of their service.

In this regard, ArmLur.am conducted a survey among citizens to find out their thoughts on this matter.
